Workout Music

In this article I cover the benefits of listening to workout music and how to get any song you want for free from youtube. Also, there is a list of my 30 favorite pump up songs at the bottom, hope you like them.
Music is a huge part of my life as well as the lives of others. Many of us know that listening to workout music can really help get us pumped up to hit the gym harder than we would without it. There are many great benefits of listening to workout music. Here are just a few benefits workout music can do for you:
Pumps You Up
For me the hardest part of exercise is getting started. Having the extra boost that workout music provides will make it much easier to get in the mood to lace up your shoes and hit the gym.
Increases Performance
There was a recent study performed by British researchers which showed that music impacts performance.
Researchers had 12 healthy male college students ride stationary bikes while listening to their favorite music. The volunteers were told to ride the bicycles at a pace they could maintain for 30 minutes. Each rode in 3 separate trials, the first trial played the song at a regular tempo, the second trial upped the tempo by 10 percent and the third trial lowered the tempo by 10 percent. The researchers found that when the tempo was slowed so did their pedaling. When the tempo was increased, the men covered more miles in the same period of time and produced more power with each pedal stroke.
When looking for workout music make sure to find songs that you like and that are up beat.
Reduces Fatigue
Listening to workout music while exercising leads to longer workouts because music creates a distraction. When listening to workout music you are less focused on how tired or sore you are and more focused on the beat of the song.
Makes Working Out Fun
I love sitting at my computer and surfing the web for new songs to add to my playlist. After adding them, I can’t wait until my next workout session so I can listen to them. It is much more fun to workout while listening to a great song you just found on the internet. Try to find those songs that excite you and make you want to listen to it over and over again.
How To Get Free Songs
Step 1. Go On Youtube and find a song that you like.
Step 2. Open another window and go to a website called Video2Mp3
Step 3. Copy the URL of the youtube video and paste it on Video2Mp3 where it says ‘ Enter the URL of the video you want to convert to MP3’. Make sure the youtube video is at its highest quality or at least 480p or else the sound quality wont be good. To change the quality of the youtube video click on the icon that looks like a gear at the bottom right of the play menu.
Step 4. Select the quality you want and click convert.
Step 5. After the loading process it will say ‘Conversion successfully complete!’. Click the link below it. Note: there may be an ad that pops up, when this happens just wait a few seconds and then it will say ‘continue to your download’.
Step 6. When you reach the next page wait 20 seconds and it will automatically download the song to your computer for you. If you have a Mac the song will automatically start playing on itunes when the download is complete.
Test this out on the following songs.
